The Private Hospital Mølholm A/S was established in 1992. It is built in connection with a fine patrician house from the year 1900 and is placed in a part of Vejle called Mølholm. At renovation and extention we have especially emphasised to preserve the old building.
The Private Hospital Mølholm A/S is a multi-speciality hospital with 25 medical specialities represented. We are using advanced medical technology in both diagnostic procedures and treatments.
Through the last 10 years, The Private Hospital Mølholm A/S has been in constant growth.
The Private Hospital Mølholm A/S is the second largest private hospital in Denmark. We carry out approximately 20.000 examinations, 2.200 operations in full anaesthesia and 5000 operations in local anasthesia yearly.
The hospital employs today approximately 60 employees. In addition to this we have 70 medical specialists and 50 hourly-paid nurses.
We have got 24 beds at our disposal with a possibility to expand with further 12 beds. The hospital has three operating rooms, four small operating rooms for outpatients and a number of examinationrooms and offices. The Private Hospital Mølholm has futhermore a satelliteclinic in Århus, in which lasertreatment of skinproblems is carried out. Our last extention is a clinic at Herlev Private Hospital, Copenhagen, to enable us to treat patients in the eastern part of Denmark. At the clinic at Herlev Private Hospital we carry out medical examinations, health checks, small operations in local anaesthesia and preexaminations for surgery at The Private Hospital Mølholm A/S, Vejle.
The Private Hospital Mølholm A/S is owned by a group of medical specialists whom, apart from owning the hospital, also each owns a medial clinic in the community.
