Do you have health insurance, is there a long wait in the public system, or would you prefer to pay out of pocket?
If you live in Denmark, you have the right to choose a private hospital through the extended free hospital choice scheme if the wait time for an examination exceeds 30 days. You can also use your health insurance, receive a subside through Sygeforsikringen "danmark", or choose to pay yourself. Learn more about how it how it works here.

Are you paying out of pocket?
If you would like to save time and avoid going through your general practitioner, we can offer consultations and surgery by our experienced specialists with short waiting times. If you are Danish and a member of Sygeforsikringen "danmark", group 1, 2, or 5 (with surgery coverage), you may be eligible for a subsidy for treatment at Privathospitalet Mølholm according to current regulations.

Are you referred from the Danish public healthcare system?
If you are waiting for an examination or treatment in the Danish public system and the wait time exceed 30 days, you have the right to use a private hospital.
How to proceed:
- Contact the patient guidance service (patientvejledning) in your region* to be referred to Privathospitalet Mølholm.
- Once your application is submitted, we will be notified, and the relevant medical records will be sent to us.
- You will receive an appointment shortly via e-Boks.
