What is neuropsychology?
Neuropsychology is the branch of psychology which deals with the relationship between processes in different parts of the brain and psychological functions.
Neuropsychology has gathered knowledge about how diseases and injuries in different areas of the brain affect human thinking and emotional life. These can be brain disorders such as dementia or sclerosis, subsequent symptoms following strokes (i.e., a blood clot or haemorrhage in the brain) or following a blow to the head.
